Surprise!!!
We are pregnant … AGAIN….
And we are just as surprised as you are…
We thought we were done after four, but life had other plans.
We have five children in our home. Four of our own and the little plus one, for as long as he needs a loving home to be placed in. To say our little three bedroom home is full on noise, laughter and the occasional argument is understatement. Some days it feels like I am running a little toddler fight club.
Two and a half years ago, after our fourth child was born we decided we were done. For our family we were happy with our four and we thought our family was complete. In fact we were so sure we were finished having babies that we sold all our baby items when they where no longer needed.
I even went as far as to wrote a post about being done last year in 2017. Like declaring to the world made it official.

Yet here we are doing the pregnancy thing all over again.
Was this pregnancy planned?
Hell no…. We were careful, we avoided doing the nasty around that ovulation point every month. There was a strategy and our methods worked for two years. We took all the steps to avoid falling pregnant without the final stop being used. But for us making babies comes way to easy. He has excellent swimmers and I am a perfect human incubator. When I say a perfect human incubator, I mean that have even fallen pregnant while being on contraception to avoid it. We are just one of those over fertile couples.
What I guess you could say is, as a couple we are just really lucky and way to good at making babies.

With all those strategies put in place and working for us, they still were never 100%. We always knew that this could happen again. It only ever takes that one time, where things don’t work the way they are meant to. Then it is hello pregnancy and having to re-buy all those baby items again.
Even though our surprise baby number 5 wasn’t planned. We final got over the shock of being pregnant again and we are now happily preparing to welcome our new arrival in December 2018.
By the end of the year there will be 6 children in our home. With five of them being under the age of 6…

We are 100% sure this time.
We are putting a permeant stop to our baby production ways. Thank you future hubby for taking one for the team and putting your swimmers in permeant retirement.
For now it is time for our family to prepare for our new addition. We can not wait to find out what gender our new little baby will be this time.
