Welcome to my little slice of the internet world. I am a 30 year old Aussie mum. In 2018, my now husband and I, made the incredible jump from having four children to having eight in a period of 18 months. 

Yes, you heard right. We are a large family with raising eight children. We had our fifth baby in 2018 after opening our up our home and our hearts to three beautiful children who need a helping hand during a time of need for their own families. 

Since 2018, things have been crazy. As we have all had to learn how to manage being a large family with so many personalities under the one three bedroom roof.

Which brings us to 2020….. 

Like with most people around the world, 2020 has been a hard year, filled with ups and downs. We lost a large portion of our family income, we got married in March after 10 years together. We where clocked down in Victoria due to Covid-19 and I had to do remote learning for 5 primary school children and 3 pre-schoolers. Twice.

But here is what has come from this year….

We have had to relearn everything we thought we know about budgeting and money management.

I became sick and tired of clean up the same mess and have started a decluttering and organising journey.

We have learnt how to be way more productive and get the most our of everyday by unlocking the secrets of finding family rhythms and turning them into family routines.

But here is the Best news and the reason why you are here….

Right here on this blog. We are sharing all our secrets to everything. Because if we can do it as a large, family then I know that you can too.

I want to share how to not only survive but thrive on a low income. Through the means of budgeting and making the money start working for you. Not the other way around. I will even through in some grocery shopping tip, tricks and recipes of how we can survive on a weekly budget of $200 or less.

I want to share all my tips, tricks and all my mistakes as I declutter and organise our family home. I have tried many times over to organise years our home and fail miserably. But I think I finally understand why

And finally I want to share my journey as I start up a side hustle to bring in extra income for my family. Just for a bit more fun.
